The bear karma strikes again! What a wonderful spring for animal sightings. I had dinner with the neighborhood gals this evening, and drove home at about 8pm. Driving up through the neighborhood, I came upon a small black bear eating grasses by the side of the road. Just as I grabbed my camera phone, he turned and saw my car- then bolted into the woods. What fast runners they are. The certainly don't look that way!
I continued driving and about 1/2 mile down the road from the bear sighting was a doe and her beautiful little fawn. The fawn scooted underneath her mama, and the mama rushed it to the safety of the tree line.
I was smiling all the way home. Another great evening living in God's country.
