Little bear comes to visit

This little yearling was eating salmonberries near our house, when he was startled by my car.  I grabbed my camera phone and got a picture as he darted off.  When he was fully in the woods, he stood on his hind legs and starred at me.  This time of year is the best!

They're back!

This guy came by at about 8pm on Thursday.  Hard to say with certainty that it's Paul, but the coloration on his sides sure look similar.
