Opening week of fishing season

Rattlesnake Lake opened up this last weekend.  There are so many fish!  Besides the fish the scenery can't be beat.  Last night we witnessed an Osprey catch a fish and while flying get attacked by 2 bald eagles.  Eventually the Osprey dropped the fish.  Hard life for the poor Osprey- but that's nature for you.

He walks on water?

Close....

This lake can produce some whoppers, but I was happy with this one.

It's hard to describe the teal color of the water until you see it for yourself.  This picture picked it up pretty good.  The fish take on a gorgeous teal green too- but it's impossible to capture with a camera.
Sardines :)....
Triploid trout!
