Maya's Visit.

Well, she headed out on a big old airplane for home yesterday, and oh how we'll miss her!  We hope she had a great time on her visit and has lot of memories to share with friends and family.  Here are a few pictures of good times (I hope to make a movie at some point too).

It was not uncommon to see her doing this in our yard.  We are leaving 1/2 the yard natural, but planting some wildflowers and natural greens.  While she was here, she "weeded" umpteen salmon berry plants from around our sapplings, and planted 75 daffodil bulbs in our meadow.  Her energy is endless!
Vil used his gift certificate to Paraglide, while she was here.  Here they are at the top before his takeoff.  No easy hike up here I might add.
One fine day we took off for Rachel Lake- an 8 mile roundtrip adventure that leads to this pristine little alpine lake at the base of Rampart Ridge.  It was a spectacular hike- and again... no easy feat.
