Only I would post a disgusting pile of poo on my blog. But here's the story... last night Summit gave a bark in the night. This morning I walked outside and at the end of our driveway was this. This morning I saw two turkey vultures heading into the woods across the street. Coincidence? Hmmm...wonder if there is a kill over there. Saw two doe last night at sunset in the field right below our neighbors house- not far from where the vulture headed down. Yikes.
I'm going to put my money on a cougar scat.. what do you think? It's much too large to be a bobcat, and pretty hairy for a bear. I'm going to send this along to our resident cougar biologist for his assessment and then get the answers.. in the meantime.. any guesses?
