I have spring fever and I thought it might be nice to give the web site a new look! I opted for one of my favorite pictures ever. This was taken near Glacier Peak on a backpacking trip a few years back. We'd been hiking nearly all day and we headed up to the top of this long hill, pretty tired, with lots of black flies in tow, to find a place to spend the night. At the top, we were rewarded and welcomed with this view of stunning mountains, a field of lupine and a nice reprieve from the long climb. That night we camped near a curious marmot who kept coming by the tent fly to see what type of creatures we were. Life is full of moments like these which keep it rich, sweet and beautiful. I wanted something that was memorable and special to both of us. This day was one to remember, and seemed the perfect fit to our new blog look.
