Texas!

Just got back from a few days visiting my sister and my youngest nephew in Texas. The little guy and his Mom were hanging out alone all week because the big brother and his Dad were off at Boy Scout Camp. We had a busy and fun 4 days and I took a zillion pictures!

Lewis and Clark showed up again at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston!

This slide provides a little fun at the expense of a giant wedgie. I only went on it once. :)
The Gulf of Mexico in Galveston.
We visited Brazos Bend State Park, which is about 40 minutes from their house. It was a photographers dream! Gators, turtles, snake, flowers and birds in every direction. Such a treat!

I was surprised to see any waterfowl babies with all of those gators around!
A gator 'slide'.

He's in disguise!

We found a darling baby turtle!

The family got new additions this past year. A dog named "Maddie" and a cat named "Shadow". I didn't get many pictures of the little shadow-cat, but Maddie was a shameless flirt.

It was a fantastic trip. I took a little video of the kiddo being a goofball. Where does all that energy go when you become an adult? He's such a fun and lighthearted kid.
