Beautiful October!

It's only just begun, but October is turning out to be the September that we never had. The weather has been beautiful and the temps more like summer. One evening I scooted up Little Si for a quick hike and ended up sitting at the top- almost purring. There was no wind, the warm sun was hitting the rocks and I sat up there and enjoyed a short sleeve evening with a great view. It was hard to come back down! I took a little spin on my bike up to the Iron Horse to see what kind of colors I could find up there. It's mostly evergreen, but I had fun riding and playing the camera. Let's hope we can squeeze a few more nice days out of fall before winter comes.
