Isn't that wild? It's their mouth. The dive is done at night because the lights bring out the plankton. It's crazy to think that something with a 14ft. wingspan would only eat tiny little plankton (itty bitty shrimp) to survive. Nature is amazing. By the way- that trip is open to snorkelers too!
