An update for those following along: Vil and I headed to California to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary last week. This is where we all scratch our heads and go "really? 5 years?". So we were off to some rollercoasters at Disney, visiting some wonderful friends and relatives in San Diego and LA and climbing some "Yabadabadooo" looking rocks in Joshua Tree. A ca-zillion pictures are sitting on my computer from the trip, which I hope to put into a video before long. Stay tuned :).
Maya, once again, graciously accepted the offer to come sit the "grand-dog" and spent an incredible amount of time spoiling us with detailed housework while we were gone. We returned to a spotless house, a happy pooch, fresh laundry and bed sheets, and groceries. While I constantly remind her that being Cinderella isn't necessary just because she comes to visit- she insists and seems to enjoy the work. How the heck did we get so lucky?

She brought such beautiful weather for her stay here, but literally hours after she stepped onto the plane this happened. Weird? Nope- it's just Mother Nature sharing our feelings of her leaving.
