No more complaining about weather for a while...
Oh the rewards of waiting out this wacky winter weather! An inversion has set up in the mountains bringing glorious sunshine to the high country with spring temperatures. Meanwhile, our neighbors below us in the valley and all around Seattle are under a giant foggy, misty, cold cloud. I let Summit out last night and stood outside in my pj's beneath a full sky of brilliant stars enjoying a warm breeze. We still have pockets of lingering snow, but it's well on it's way out. Yesterday, Paradise at Mt. Rainier reported temperatures of high 60's (68). With a day off, I couldn't resist climbing up Mt. Si and taking a long snooze in the warmth. You don't have to look far to be reminded that we aren't even 1/2 way through Winter, but it's such a refreshing break! Of course, I created a video of my trip as there were too many pictures to post. The birds are Grey Jays a.k.a. Camp Robbers. One of those little devils nearly stole my sandwich!
