The rivers are finally coming down from their rushing heights and river fishing on dry flies has become a fun hobby again. The nutrients on the Western Washington side are not plentiful, so the river fish stay pretty small. This little nipper couldn't resist a big wooly wulff fly pattern. Summer is "o-fish-ally" here, again!

That looks like fun too. Do you keep the fish or just catch and release?
Hi Donna,
We gently put them back. Occasionally we keep one, if it's a good eater :). Hope you had a nice trip up to WA!
